Our Mission

Kids Matter Calgary’s mission is to ensure children and youth in Calgary can access timely, culturally responsive mental‑health counselling regardless of family income or systemic barriers. We provide counselling bursaries, personalized navigation, and work with local organizations to provide culturally-informed activities to promote mental health wellness.

We are a grassroots organization, formed by a group of friends who recognized the challenges that many families face in trying to navigate mental health services.
